Color has always been part of the Gossamer® lash roster. From the Prismatic color collection, that includes Gossamer lashes in bold color, to the Intimates color collection, that provides natural hues to enhance the lashes you are born with. Now the latest innovation in the color collection is Ombré! Providing a beautiful, yet subtle pop of color.
What does ombré mean? Ombré refers to a color pattern in which colors or tones fade into one another. Currently, the Ombré Collection at Lashify starts with a black base and fades into subtle color at the tips.
Fluffy Ombre
It all started this summer, when a limited edition Fluffy Gossamer® lash was launched in Blue Ombré. The reaction was instant! The Lashifiends loved it and demanded more. The Ombré Fluffy is currently available in sizes 12mm, and 14mm. The Ombré colors in the Fluffy collection will continue to expand and be available in multiple colors!
Previously, in order to achieve this look, Lashifiends were triple stacking (layering) Core lashes and Prismatic lashes, starting with a short base layer of black, stacking a prismatic color in a longer length, and then adding a final stack with a shorter lash. It was the only way to achieve a pop of color at the tips, whether you were looking up or down. The new Ombré Fluffy achieves that look with just one lash style!
Core Ombré Collection
The next endeavor was to bring Ombre to the Core Collection. Lashify Labs released the Ombré colors in Core styles on September 27, and are now available in the Amplify and Curl Gossamer® Lash styles, in colors: Violet, Blue, and Green, and in sizes 10mm - 18 mm. Our Amplify and Core styles have soft, thin, wispy fibers that are meant to mimic the look of traditional lash extensions, while the Fluffy Ombré is designed to provide a fuller, bolder ombré look. The Core lashes give a more subtle pop of color, designed for an everyday, effortless lash look with pop of flirty fun. They can be stacked and combined with any other Gossamer® lash look.
When applying the Ombré Gossamer® Lashes we suggest using the Frosting Method™. This technique provides great wear time! To use the Frosting Method™ follow the steps below.
