The Lashify Boutique located on Melrose Place officially opened on February 22, 2024. This is Sahara Lotti’s first permanent freestanding boutique, located on Melrose Place, one of the most desirable luxury retail locations in Los Angeles. The 860-square foot space holds the Lashify Boutique and will also be the home to LashifyLabs, which will open later this year. When asked about the location of the boutique, Sahara Lotti, founder and CEO of Lashify, stated, “LA is my home. I created Lashify from my house in the Hills, overlooking the city of Los Angeles. Opening a store in West Hollywood is a full circle moment for me, and Melrose Place was my dream location. It has the right energy. It’s chic but not pretentious. Visitors from all over the world used to consider Rodeo Drive the main retail destination for LA, now they also visit Melrose Place.”
The Lashify Boutique will be a retail destination where Lashify clientele and International MUAs can visit to not only purchase products, but also receive personalized services by Lashify Professionals. The space will hold VIP events, early release of new products, masterclasses and more.
What to expect when you walk into the Lashify Boutique
Before even walking into the Lashify boutique, patrons walking on Melrose Place get to view a giant Control Kit located in the boutique's window. When walking into the boutique you are instantly greeted with the feeling of luxury. Sahara Lotti chose to work with architectural designer and builder Craig Maldonado to make her vision come to life. The entire look and feel of the store brings the feel of a clean, modern design aesthetic inspired by Lashify’s award winning Control Kit.
The bottom floor hosts a large marble topped, bronze paneled lash bar with beautiful, multi-tiered shelving behind it, adorned with product and mannequins wearing Lashify lashes. There are Tom Dixon chairs, perfect for every boyfriend or husband to keep warm while their significant other gets their lashes applied. After perusing through the bottom floor, you can walk up the stairs, which are embellished with hundreds of signature Gossamer® Lash cartridges, to the VIP application lounge. On your way up you may notice the beautiful Tom Dixon lighting that creates warm, moody lighting.
The VIP application lounge evokes that of a beautiful, lavish boudoir. The walls are lined with mirrors shaped like crystals, with glass display cases outlined in bronze. The area boasts 3 application stations where the Lashify Professionals can provide demos, lash applications, and lash lessons.
Also located on the second floor of the boutique is an area where you can Build Your Own Control Kit. This area is where customers will be able to customize and personalize their very own Control Kit. This area holds an entire wall of Gossamer Lashes, a light up Lashify sign and an LED screen that displays Lashify’s infamous application videos.
The opening of the store was celebrated with an opulent opening party. The party was star-studded with celebrities like Dita Von Teese, world class MUAs, hair stylists, influencers, and more. Guests were able to enter the store and walk through a blue velvet lined hallway to the courtyard that was decorated to create a whimsical, floral destination. The floor and staircase were lined with candles, creating the perfect level of ambience for an evening of celebration. The night ended with Sahara Lotti’s signature music being played while guests danced the night away.
When asking Sahara about how she wants the customers to feel when walking through the Boutique, she stated, “When they visit the boutique, I want my customers to feel the same way they feel when they open a Lashify package. Exclusive. Chic, and most of all - that we are happy to see them.”
